Vanitha (వనిత), a Telugu women’s supportive wing of the Triangle United Telugu Association (TUTA).

ఎక్కడెక్కడ మహిళలు గౌరవింపబడతారో అక్కడ దేవతలు నివాసముంటారు.

 

Vanitha was started with a view to engage the women in the Telugu community in a variety of cultural activities and support them to better assimilate in the RTP  community while maintaining their cultural roots.

It is a forum for the women to meet, network, engage and promote cultural activities that includes music, literature and performing arts. TUTA Vanitha organizes cultural events that will help provide opportunities for the community to showcase, present, educate their culture through dance, drama, literature, crafts and music. In addition, jointly with other wings of the Association, it promotes health related activities for the physical and mental well-being of the Telugu community.

Some of the activities organized by the wing include Mothers Day, Bathukamma, Womens Day and many more…Vanitha promotes women empowerment by encouraging them to learn new skills and become independent and self-reliant.

TUTA Vanitha’s events are open to the wider across RTP area community members and their families.
